Custom Jewelry Design, jewelry and watch repairs, as well as  and appraisals, are done on premises by our highly skilled Gemologist, Master Watchmaker, and Master Goldsmiths.

All appraisals are written by our G.I.A. Certified Graduate Gemologist, and they take approximately a week.  Appraisals are $75.00 for the first item, and $45.00 per item thereafter.  We strongly recommend that all jewelry and watches over $500.00 have an appraisal done for insurance purposes.

Watch repair is done by Donn Powers.  He has a passion for restoring vintage watches.  He does watch movement replacements, crowns, stems, crystals, overhauls on quartz and mechanical watches and pocket watch repair.  Watch band shortening is also available, and can most of the time be done while you wait.  We change watch batteries as well, and guarantee them for one year after they are installed.  Watch repair takes between 10 days to 3 weeks, depending on the availability of parts.

Custom jewelry design is the perfect way to have that one of a kind piece that is unique to you.  Hand carved wax models can be completed within 2 weeks and cost $100.00.  The wax fee is factored into the price of the completed piece.  Once the wax is approved, it takes approximately 2 weeks to complete the piece.

All jewelry repairs are completed in 2 weeks or less.  We also offer Express Service.  If there is urgency, your repair can be completed in 2 days.  Ring sizing, chain repair, prong work, bead and pearl stringing, stone replacement, eyeglass repair and engraving are examples of the jewelry repair we offer.  If other jewelers won’t repair your item, bring it to Donn Powers Jeweler.  We repair the items other jewelers won’t touch.
